Yeah.I'm not sure where to start on this one.
Traditional and authentic ethnic costumes.
Non-stop ethnic music and dance on two stages.
The chance to meet Dora the Explorer on Saturday and Sunday.
Authentic foods from over 20 vendors along with over 50 cultural booths and shopping.
The opportunity to watch over 150 people become the newest American citizens at a Naturalization Ceremony.
These are just some of the things that will be available this coming weekend at the Indianapolis International Festival taking place just North of Downtown Indianapolis at the Indiana state fairgrounds. Starting Friday afternoon and running all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday families will have the opportunity to participate and enjoy an absolute cultural sensory overload at this annual celebration.
If I may just add my two western United States cents in here, Indianapolis events such as this one always amaze me. This along with so many other cultural events here in Indianapolis are such excellent ways to expose kids to so many different cultures and traditions.
I love it.
Tickets start at $6 for kids and $7 for adults.
