Indy's Queen of Free

I happened to run to the grocery store on Halloween to pick up a few last minute treats and the darnedest thing happened.  It was pert near impossible to find them.  I had to really search because where the Halloween candy, decor, and costumes had been just a few days before was now filled with all sorts of Thanksgiving and Christmas gear!  Yep, it seems to come earlier every year but before we know it Christmas will be here with the "Fa la la la la" and the "Jingle Bells."

If you're looking to get a jump on your holiday shopping, I can't wait to let you in on one of my favorite Indianapolis Events.  Many a time (I haven't been all 60 years but I have been more than once), I have ventured out to the State Fair Grounds to partake in the awesomeness that is the Christmas Gift and Hobby Show.  With over 350 exhibitors you're bound to find something for even the pickiest person on your "Nice List."  And I'm always excited about the discounts and bargains I can find on Holiday decor.  It's coming up soon (November 11th-15th) and admission is $10 for adults ($7 for Seniors on particular days) and kids 12 and younger are free.  Plus if you sign up here there's a coupon!  SCORE, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, LA!
