A Man's Museum

Alright, so I’m not big on museums…go figure. Maybe I’m just uncultured. But what 22 year old guy is? (Cut me some slack, I’m working on it.) But there is one museum in Indianapolis that I recommend all guys need to check out. And it’s the newly redesigned NCAA Hall of Champions located in White River State Park just west of downtown Indianapolis. Don’t be fooled, it’s not just any museum; it is a Mecca for college sports.

Believe me when I say that I’m a sucker for anything sports related and this definitely takes the cake for any museum I have ever been to in Indy. With plenty to look at, the museum is filled with memorabilia from almost any era of any sport. But looking isn’t all you can do. You can try your hand at some three-point shots and challenge your buddies on their replica 1930s gymnasium, take part in one of their many interactive exhibits or take a closer look inside the NCAA in one of their three movie theaters. Also, if you are looking for an Indianapolis meeting place look no further. It's in a convenient location in downtown Indianapolis and they're always flexible.

But almost as good as the museum itself is the price to get in- only $5 adults 19 and over. Sounds like a recession-proof museum if I’ve ever heard of one. And a great deal for a frugal individual like myself. So, no matter what kind of sports you are into the Hall of Champions has it all. With exhibits that feature the greatest players and greatest teams of all time, I can assure you this won’t be your average trip to the museum.
